My Galaxy S4 is totally dead. How can I get it to work again?

I tried taking the battery out and replacing it many times. I tried charging the phone. I bought a new battery and charging package. I put the new charged battery into the phone. Nothing I have tried will bring any light, turn on the phone or give any kind of resolution to this problem. Is there a way to reset my phone, any way to bring it back to life?

Have you tried holding down the POWER BUTTON for about 10-15 seconds. This should bring up a screen that says RESTART!
