My Galaxy S4 mini shows 12mb internal storage but I should have more. What should I do?

my galaxy s4 mini shows 12mb internal storage

When i open my file manager it shows 12mb phone storage cant install more apps !!
But when i go to setting > storage. It shows 32gb internal storage ???
Cant understand problem help me...

You are comparing apples to oranges. The 12 mb you see is what remains of the original 32 gb phone storage when it was just activated and before you loaded apps and other stuff.

I would go through the apps you have installed but no longer use and uninstall them. This should add some more storage available to you.

Maybe someone else will have more options for you to try. Let us know what happens and if you need more help.

Another path to consider is to do a factory reset and then reload only the apps you need and use. This sometimes clears any hidden problems with memory allocation.
