My Galaxy S6 Edge's screen is showing Straight Vertical lines of various colours. Will Samsung replace it for free or give any kind of diacount or Compensastion. I have been using S6 Edge from a long time. I am screwed up .How to fix it and the new screen is too expensive and I am confused what to do?

Unfortunately unless the device is still under warranty and the repair shop diagnosis doesn't show any tampering or physical damage to the phone, Samsung will not replace your screen or device for free.

Do the vertical lines stay fixed or do the 'jump'? Does it fix itself after a while? What about if you press (gently) on the edges of the phone? If the latter works, it might just be a loose connector and not something that requires the entire screen to be replaced.

If they're over anything else on the phone (any app), then that spells hardware issue, and most likely, a display panel one. It could still be a faulty connector (cheaper to repair than a screen) but I wouldn't keep my hopes up.

Of they're spreading, it's a physically broken screen, and it has to be replaced. Unfortunately, that kind of breakage is usually caused by dropping the phone or keeping it in a tight pocket, so it's not covered.
