My Galaxy S6 Edge keeps making random Default notification sounds?

On 9/14/15, I performed a Factory re-set, and now i am hearing the sound for Default notification sound about every 45 seconds.

Do you have a Yahoo app?, If so delete the app, that will solve your problem of Random Default Notification sounds!!

I have the same problem which just started recently (after update by AT&T?). I don't use Yahoo ... Any other ideas how to fix this?

My s6 is doing the same since last update. It's driving me crazy. The only way i can stop it is to silence all notifications. I can't figure out what is causing it to make the sound.

You have to follow some step
1st. Go to your Setting
2nd. Go to Accessibility
3rd. Then Go to Notification reminder
4th. Turn Off if you want reminder off
