I had the strangest thing happen today. I use my Galaxy watch with a Pixel 2 XL. Everything was fine this morning, then in the middle of the afternoon I went to open up the Galaxy app to check something, and it had completely reset itself. I opened it up and it said welcome to Galaxy, please choose which watch you have etc. I had to resynch it to the watch via Bluetooth. Has anyone else had this happen?

Nope, never had anything like that. I'm using a Note9 though. The only thing remotely similar I've seen is opening up the Galaxy Wear app and it prompts for an update when needed which involves a repairing of the watch. But then everything is saved as it should be when the update is complete.
I'd keep an eye on it and reach out to Samsung if it happens again.

I had mine go into update mode twice when there was no update. Since I started turning the bezel off at night it hasn't happened. But I think it's just a coincidence. I think I hit it while sleeping and managed to get it in the boot launcher.

Thanks guys. I'll keep an eye on it. It was just so strange that I was using the app just fine and then a few hours later it acted like it was a fresh install.
