my green light is on and my phone wont turn on how do i fix this?

My phone was fine last night almost dead at 4% I put it on the charger and it got to 92% but it didn't seem to be charging so i took it off the charger and plugged it back in. I woke up and my green light was on like it was fully charged but now it wont turn on. I unplugged it and my green light stays on but it still wont turn on. It is a samsung galaxy 6. Please help me. What do i do to fix this?

Welcome to the forums. I would try a simulated battery pull. Press the volume down and power for 10-15 seconds. See if that reboots the phone.
