3 days old, here's what I've found to be a pain so far....

1. When hitting reply in email (Exchange), the keyboard doesn't come up automatically - you have to tap in the body for the keyboard to show. This should be automatic. (For some reason seems to be working now)

2. Unable to change font in the exchange email signature

3. What is text preview size? Seems like it has something to do with how much of the message is displayed, but changing this value does nothing as far as I can tell.

4. hitting email notification in drop down panel only takes you to mail app, doesn't actually open the email itself. Gmail and SMS work properly - it's the exchange emails that don't open properly.

5. How do I change the volume for all 3 at the same time - ringer, audio and notifications? I guess I'll have to look for a widget or app that can do this. I want to be able to go from all loud, to all medium, to all soft, or all vibrate or all mute. Right now, each one has it's own slider to adjust. PITA.

6. S voice is useless and slow Disabled completely, using Vlingo

7. Updating the vzw bloat apps makes them appear in downloaded app drawer

8. wifi toggle problem - more than enough said about this one.....

9. Occasional network drop even in known excellent coverage areas. hasn't happened at all in about 24 hours, so that's good.

10. Can't use the phone in any way when transferring media via usb cable in mtp mode?

Anyhow, if anyone has any solutions, I would be very appreciative! In general I love the phone and will probably keep, but some of these issues are really annoying.....

7. Why did you update them? Uninstall updates > disable

Don't have to deal with them anymore.

As long as you have a decent data connection S-voice is actually quite useful. I use it to set alarms, check the weather and add events to my calender.

Reply opens the keyboard for me. But using Swype, so maybe that's it.

S Voice isn't entirely useless. Does voice dialing and I just used it for my kid's homework the other day to find out current times in different cities around the world. But it leaves a lot to be desired, yeah.

You only get one notification per email account (not one notification per email). I assume this is why it takes you to the app and not the email itself, although I admit it's a bit strange that the notification shows a specific email regardless of how many new emails you have.

For replying, the keyboard does pop up automatically for gmail and my comcast mail, but not for exchange mail.

The voice dialing hasn't found the right name for me yet. I speak with a very clear voice, I have no accent, and it just can't find the right names. Ever.

If I get one new gmail and one new exchange email, I can click on the gmail notification and it opens that specific email. Doesn't in exchange mail - only takes me to inbox.

I have a noob question after i download a new keyboard app how to I make it my default keyboard?

Mozgov...keyboard...go to settings...language and input...and choose from there..

I've actually liken Touchdown for my android phone. Much better than stock. Of course I am using a droid x haha.

I don't like the look of touchdown. The icons are too cartoon-like and colorful. Soft looking - if you know what I mean. I like sharp, modern looking stuff and I'm in email all day.

I started to say seriously, but then yeah they do look cartoony but your dismissing the true functio of the app and that is full activesync exchange support. Currenty and to my knowledge, there is nothing else out there that even comes close to what this app offers. I mean really, look at the settings and the things you can customize in there. Although icon may be "cartoony" they do and show their purpose well. To each his own. I on the other hand prefer to use an app that has many features. I tried the built in on droid x, it just didn't have all the feature a smartphone exchange should have, touchdown gives me all of that and then some plus many custom features I can turn on or off.

Totally agree that the functionality is there with Touchdown. I just cant stand the look of it and i have to be in email all day. The stock app integrates just fine with exchange but just hoping there were solutions to a couple of small but annoying things.

Just to add, using vlingo now and it's working great. It seems to have much better voice recognition than S Voice.
