My HTC One won't connect to internet/data but my texts and calls work, how is this possible?

my htc one won't connect to internet/data my texts and calls work

My HTC one won't connect to the internet but it still receives text messaging and calls it says my mobile data is disconnected

It won't connect to the internet even when mobile network is on but says disconnected pleaase fix this problem as it's an unlocked phone with a telus SIM card

Connecting to the internet requires that the APN be set correctly for your carrier. Phone calls and texts don't use the APN.

It looks as if Telus uses different APNs, depending on where you are. Go to Select your region | Telus.com choose your location and follow the instructions.

Now I can't seem to send or receive pics or videos through via text message what has happened
