Recently my Huawei Mate 7 has had issues with the battery life. It would drain a bit slower then usual but then die at around 60% and say it had 0% battery life. The way to revive it was to plug it in and it would say it was still 60%. After a while, I plugged my phone in to charge at night and it randomly switched from 54% (this was after having to plug it in when it died at about 57%) to 5% and I thought the error was fixed however the battery began to charge insanely fast at about a percentage every 7 seconds. Have I been cursed with a dying phone or blessed with a fast charging one? *UPDATE* My phone was charging at super speed until it came to about 65% to which it slower to a normal speed. What is going on here?

Welcome to Android Central! The battery might be dying. Or it could be a glitch with the battery sensor software. Try to recalibrate the software by charging up to 100%, then using it normally until it shuts off automatically from low battery. Then charge back to 100% again. Does the same thing happen after that?

Unfortunately, I think the battery is dead or dying. Bring it to a repair shop and get the battery replaced. Is the phone still under warranty?
