My internet doesn't work when using voice calls

Just recently my internet and data has stopped working while I'm on the phone making calls. It seems to shutdown the data when i make a call because my 3g sign disappears as soon as I make a call. My mobile data is still checked on when I go into the settings to look at it though. Any ideas?

Welcome to any provider besides ATT. When makin a call on a cdma phone, you can NOT use data. You can use Wifi though.

Oh really? Haha I thought VM was able to do that. I guess since I'm usually connected to wifi and use data while making a call, I thought it was always working. Thanks for the quick reply!

Also works with T-Mobile. They just dont annoyingly advertise that feature as much as ATT.
