If the problem persists after a reboot, then try Safe Mode: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/coolpad/coolpad-legacy/safe-mode/. Also, make sure you didn't disable your stock keyboard app. Go to Settings>Apps, select the keyboard app, and see if there's an Enable button there. Upvote 0 Downvote
