My keyboard shrunk and is move-able. How do I get it back to normal?

my keyboard shrunk and is moveable. how do I get it back to normal?

I was texting one night and my keyboard freaked out and got smaller and I can move it all around my screen. It's not just for texting it's like this when I try to type anything on my phone. Now I can barely type. Please help me fix this.!

Welcome to Android Central! Is it a Galaxy S5? You probably enabled the floating keyboard. Tap the key that looks like a keyboard on top of another rectangle.

Just curious here on that 'shrunken keyboard' you're concerned about. Does it look like this?

As B. Diddy stated above, simply "tap the key that looks like a keyboard on top of another rectangle" as depicted in the above photo posted and in this full keyboard version that can be seen on the bottom left in between < SYM > and < , > :

My keyboard shrunk to about 3/4 normal size. Checking my Settings, I realized that I had activated One-Handed operation in my Input/Keyboard settings, this allows a smaller keyboard on the left or right side of phone,
switching it Off corrected the problem.
