my lg g4 turns off every few seconds

my lg g4 turns off every few seconds. when I try to turn it back on again the screens that appear when turning on repeat several times. occasionally my phone will let me use it for a few seconds in which I quickly try to go to my settings and reset the phone. then it turns off saying it will turn back on and it will be reset but after it turns off it goes back to not wanting to turn on again, and once I get it to turn on for a few seconds I see that it didn't reset and I still have the same problems. I tried taking out the battery, didn't work no matter how long I waited in between taking it out and putting it back in. please help

Have you tried charging your phone? If yes, what happens?

Also, why are you trying to reset your phone?

Moreover, you should get a new OEM LG G4 battery and see if the same issue occurs or not.
