I have the LG K10 powered off and when i plug it to the wall charger it shows the battery icon and after a few seconds it turns on by itself! I have to power it off to let it charge while is off.

I just bought it and they told me to charge it for 6 hours while it is off. But it turned on by itself, then i powered it off immediately. Will this affect the battery?
