My LG K20 is stuck on firmware

A firmware update popped up on my lg k20 plus and it’s been there for hours . I can’t take the battery out of the phone and holding the power button and volume buttons didn’t restart it so I’m clueless as to what to do at this point.

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that it's been stuck on the installing screen for hours? How long did you hold the Power button down for? You usually have to hold it for at least 20 seconds (which is deceptively long time). Unless it's a Samsung phone, you usually don't have to press a volume button along with it.
