My LG K8 keeps restarting whilst updating to the newest software, any ideas how to fix the problem?

I am updating my phone (LG K8) to the latest software, I was told that it might restart a couple of times which I was okay with. When the update started it got half way through the first part and restarted. I let it turn back on itself but it was still at the half way point and never moved, it then restarted again and it has continued to do the same thing over and over again for the past hour and a half. I don't know what to do with it??

Mine asked to do the update today, but I seem to be having the same problem. Step 1/2 goes about 75% and then goes off, comes back on and it's back at 50% it's been doing it for about 2 hours now. Any idea on how to change this? The phone is unblocked to any sim & I'm using Giffgaff!

Welcome to Android Central! If it's still going on like that, you might have to try a factory reset: LG K8 4G K350N - How to Hard Reset my phone - HardReset.info. If that doesn't work, then contact LG (if the phone is still under warranty).
