my Lg keeps blinking after turning it on, will it still work?

my Lg G4 got wet so i cleaned it up right away took out battery and sim card and tried drying it, i put it on rice, after a few hours i tried turnit it on, and it did but the screen would start flickering or blinking so i left it over night and the next morning i turn it on and it did perfektly fine, just the screen kept doing that weir flikering thing so I want to know if it will work of=r if i have to leave it on for a few minutes and wait to see if it will stop doing that
