My LG V10 Bricked

My V10 suddenly became totally bricked last week after a 1 foot drop in a case. No external damage whatsoever and the phone won't respond at all, even after charging and swapping the battery with another. It's survived much worse so I was surprised. Sending it in to LG today, we'll see what happens. I'll update you guys on responses/final result.

So it's been dropped before? How many times? Maybe repeated vibrations caused a solder joint to come loose.

In response to some questions:
It's dropped on its back numerous times, including this one (one time, someone landed on it). LG customer support was helpful and effective, yet very slow. According to FedEx, it will reach LG tomorrow (Monday), over a week after contacting them. (The slowness was in part my fault).

I was told I will lose all saved data on my phone, which isn't terrible. However, I wish they didn't HAVE to do this. Besides that, it looks like I'm getting a new or repaired phone. I'm nearly positive the issue is one of power delivery.

I'll keep you all updated!

Huh, dropped my V10 from a 3ft drop with a dualpro case on face flat and no damage or hindered performance.

Either way, best of luck with the replacement device, be it new or refurb.

This is not something I've even wanted to do, as, like I said, most everything on my phone was cloud based as well, or in my personal server. But I think I will do that from now on, I didn't even know it existed! Thanks!

It looks like LG will be shipping the device back to me by tomorrow, much ahead of schedule. Still a long time without my phone but better than expected.
