My media sound keeps going to mute.

I have a Galaxy Samsung S6.
Suddenly, the media sound shuts down, goes to mute. I turn it back up, it goes back down. Help, please!!

Do you have a sound profile set for media? I would first check that and make sure there isn't a profile set.

Faulty earphones? Have the earphones got a mic with volume control? Jammed volume button?
