Android Central Question
I have adjusted ring volume under sound & notification to silent. I have actually deleted or disabled all apps that would have any sound to them. I have stopped media volume, alarm volume. I have set my phone's ringtone to none. I have gone into my phone app and also set phone ringtone to none (under sounds & vibration). I have cleared cache/storage on TalkBack app (heard this could be a problem). I have restarted my phone on each new setting. Nothing. Every time my phone rings, the volume pops back to a (low) setting on the first ring. NOTE: It will stay silent for me if I set my ringtone to None and Also vibrate for calls. The volume still creeps back on when I get a phone call, but there's no ringtone and it will vibrate. However, that's not a solution for me. Something's wrong and I need to be sure it's not an invasion of the android snatcher. I am at the point of doing a data wipe. I did one recently and there's not a lot on my phone I can't replace easily.
