my moto G2 switches off as soon as it reaches 15% battery . what should i do?

My moto g2 is facing some battery issues . as soon as it reaches the battery till 15 to 13%, it switches off. This makes it very difficult for me in the sos times. What should i do to let the battery stay for longer?

This isn't normal. I would contact the manufacturer for a warranty replacement

It is possible for your battery stats to become "false reporting". I know I've seen ways posted on how you are supposed to "calibrate" the battery to start reporting more accurate readings. I just don't remember where or how to do the procedure.
