Sent mine in last week, : ). Makes me feel better about my darn activation fee and higher than normal state tax they felt the need to add.

I did the same thing. Actually, I didn't have an old Motorola Phone so I bought an old Motorola Admiral off Ebay for $10 and sent it in.
