My new desktop stand!

Awesome idea OP! I found a design using a google search and hoisted it a bit with some wheels to provide room for the charging cable.

Got a pic of the back? I'd like to see how tall it is to accommodate the Epic in its upright position. thanks. This is very cool!

I'll post some more pics when I get home tonight and I'll try to figure out what sets I used for you guys too. It's pretty stable for its size, I wanted it to be small enough to easily move around. So I had to make it a little longer in the back than I originally wanted to. Maybe if I get bored I'll post a step by step too!

And by the way, for those that are asking, the screen is just the stock desktop clock that came with the phone

dude thats pretty badass I still have a ton of my old legos! that would be great if you could some more pics and a step by step or something

Here are the two kits that it mostly came from:

Helicopter

Seaplane

The three most important pieces came from the Helicopter, they are U shaped pieces that hold the phone, the rest is just stabilizer.

Ok, here are the step-by-step pictures

My 9 yrs old loved the picture and decided to make his father one :-D. My photon never looked so cool!

I don't find any stock desktop clock on my phone, except for the annoying dock screen that launches itself for no good reason and that I've been unable to find settings for. Help?

In your application drawer there should be an app that just says clock. Open that, and in portrait mode you have to scroll the tabs at the top to the right one and the last one says desktop. Click that, then click the full screen icon in the top right corner. Note that you can go into settings from there and change the background if you want.

Thank-you. I had never noticed that the tab bar scrolled over! But dangit, I was hoping for an option to disable the dock screen completely.
