My new S3 randomly powers off

My new s3 I bought about 2 weeks ago randomly powers off. This has happened 2 time in wich i had to remove the battery and replace it to get it to turn back on. I have the factory battery and am not rooted. Any help?

Have you downloaded the update that pushed out this week? Random shut downs was part of the changelog.

Yea. Did the download. It randomly shut down before and now after the download.

factory reset it, if the problem persists, you may need a replacement

Has been happening to me also. A couple of times while on the phone and a few times while on the web.
Just did a factory reset( what a pain, not rooted), so I will hope this solves it.

Same thing happened to me when I bought my GS3. Was a pain to do a battery pull 2-4 times a day. Took it back to to get it exchange and haven't had the problem since.
