My nexus 4won't unlock when I swipe the lock. What do I do now?

After charging my Nexus 4 , I tried to unlock it in the appropriate way by swiping the lock but nothing happens. None of the icons (phone and camera) will work either.. Now what do I do?

Press and keep pressed the power button for more than ten seconds. It should reboot.

I thought it was going to work but it still wont open. Any other ideas?
