I have had my nexus 5 since release and never done anything to it like rooting it, just kept it stock. I have never had any problems with it until yesterday. It looked like a boot loop because the phone would not turn on, it was stuck on the google screen. So I tried to do a factory reset and it's been on the first step (wiping data and formatting data) for over 24 hours now. So I reset the phone and started the process over again because maybe it froze or something.
How long should I wait until I have enough evidence that the phone is completely dead? Is there anything else I can do to try and revive it?
