nexus 7 won't start even after jump start the battery

Hi, I drained the juice completely on my Nexus 7 2012. I know I did, because the last time I saw it, it showed 10% battery.
Next day I tried all kinds of tricks of holding different buttons at the same time, but no success.

So I opened up the case, and jump started the battery, still no luck.
Right now, it shows 4.16V on my multimeter.

Is it still low? What should it read?
How can I see that the battery has enough juice, at least to start the android?

Please advise.

I'm not sure what you mean by jump starting the battery (I know what it means for a car but never heard it used for a tablet or phone). But you may want to let it sit charged for a while and see if that helps. If not, then consider contacting Google or Asus for repair. It's likely out of the warranty period, but they should still be able to repair it for you.

4.16 Volts, even if the battery isn't connected to the phone, is quite high. 4.0 Volts is high. I'd say that your problem is something other than the battery.

(At 10%, the phone should charge the battery. It's when you get down to 0% that most phones can't do a precharge, so you have to charge them externally.)

Had the same problem so what I did was leave it on the charger for 30 min after that unplug then reinsert you will then see the charging indicator I would wait another 2min before powering on or it will just shut back off after that you should be ok....P.S if you don't want this issue again try not letting it die I learned my lesson freaked me out at first
