I'm starting to see a lot of bad reports for the note 3. My battery lasts for a while with regular day use ( 100-20 percent from 8-2 while at work) I don't mind charging it. But it sucks to see this phone get a lot of bad reports.

Plus, I get really bad reception.

Welcome to the forums.
As for your signal, you might have a unit with a bad radio, but keep in mind Samsung doesn't use the greatest ones either.

And I agree with clevin...what bad reports? As in bad reviews? I pay little attention to most reviews as they are still a personal opinion about a device. Everyone is a little biased. The only part of reviews I really pay attention to is when they list of specifications.

The last two days, with average use, I have gone to bed between 11:00 and 12:00 with 34 and 38% battery life after being up and on my phone between 5:00 and 6:00. The battery is incredible! I have experienced no major complaints with the Note 3 after 3 weeks.

There is not a lot of Bad reports just a few slight few that got bad units. There are more that are not having problems then those having problems.

Yup, if at all the report's I've read (from reviews AND "real" users) is that the battery on this thing is amazing. Maybe not as amazing as the Note 2's, but still pretty decent. I even saw a video review where they claim to have put the device through a few hours of gaming, browsing, messaging, picture-taking, reading, about 40 minutes of talk, and the device still managed to 'stay alive' by nighttime.

Bad reception and bad battery life go hand in hand most of the time unfortunately. And are you saying you get bad reception in general or is it bad reception compared to your previous phone? Plus you don't give any kind of indicators about how you use your phone at work. If you are actively using your phone then 6 hours isn't great, but it isn't unrealistic either. Post some battery stats. There could be something with a rogue app keeping your phone awake as well.

I love my new Note 3 but I'm getting the speaker problem mentioned. I have the update installed that was supposed to fix the problem I think. I can't use a couple of the in call features because the phone thinks I have a headset pluged in. I'm going back to the store/repair center with it now. I hope they can figure it out, I have put a lot of time into getting this new phone organized the way I want it.

Are there some apps you're running that may be messing with your battery?

With liberal use, a live wallpaper, wifi and LTE on, Podcast app running quite a bit and the occasional game on my hour train ride home the worst I've been with 12 hours on my battery has been 37% and that was the day I ran the podcast app and a game at the same time for a long stretch of my train ride.
