So I went through the exchange program with Samsung and they mailed me my exchange phone... Will my carrier still give me a refund or no because it isnt the exact phone I bought from them, but the replacement I got Samsung?

Who is your carrier? Verizon is automatically cancelling the Note 7 contracts and backdating upgrade dates.

Took mine back to Best Buy.
They gave me the money I paid on taxes and everything.
And I now have a upgrade eligibility.

WAiting on Samsung to figure out what is the problem and make a new phone before Christmas.

That should be what all the carriers are doing - "here's your money back, your renewal date is reset (if applicable), and here's $25 for your trouble plus $75 extra if you decide to go Samsung again. What would you like for a new phone?"

Samsung is making very loud noises to get the phones back as soon as possible - every single one of them. If you go to your carrier and the local rep is not willing to help you, ask them to call customer care on your behalf for instructions. If that is unfruitful, call Samsung Customer Care (just don't use your Note 7 to make the call, because it should be powered down).
