my note edge 4 is slow since system update. how do i fix?

Very slow switching from app to app. sometimes it will act as if there is no internet connection even though I am home and sitting next to the router and other devices are picking up the wifi. freezes a lot. text messages sometimes dont go through until i reboot the phone.

Have you tried factory resetting the phone? I know it's a PITA to re-set it up (and remember to back up your files!!!) but this usually clears up a lot of the issues that might arise from system updates gone awry.

You can try clearing cache first instead of factory resetting (this doesn't erase everything in your phone, so no back up is necessary) but more often than not it will still need the factory reset.
