My OnePlus 6T does not show MTP mode after connecting USB.

I even went and checked developer options but it doesn't show MTP mode.
The only ones I have are
1. File Transfer
2. USB Tethering
3. MIDI
4. PTP
5. No data transfer

I would like to deploy apps into my device without giving my PC, access to my device storage. (without asking permission)

I searched some results and found out that MTP asks for permission before performing any task.

If there is no MTP in 6T, how do I emulate similar behavior?

I'm pretty sure File Transfer is the same thing as MTP. Did you try that already?
