My phone cannot make a Call

My honor 8 phone is not able make a call and people cannot call me either. It just beeps once and then the call just ends. I tried to turn it off and take the sim card out but the problem remains. Can someone please help.

Have you tried your SIM card in another phone? If so, does it work?

Have you tried contacting your carrier and getting a new SIM card? When I've had issues with connectivity in the past, replacing the old SIM card with a new one has solved the problem for me.

Do you by any chance with TMobile?

If so, can you try turning off VoLTE calls under Settings->More->Mobile network and see if you can make calls then?

I also suggest seeing if another/a new SIM would work in your device. Keep us posted!

By any chance, have you dropped your phone or gotten any water in it recently?

This happens to me sometimes when I'm out of range of a cell tower - have you tried it in different locations?
