Android Central Question

Hi i have a Samsung a 6 plus and i updated the system yesterday and it was okay for like less then an hour after that i noticed that the song i was listening stopped,so i went to my music library (the Samsung music app) and found out 200 of my songs were gone and a bunch of my pictures as well. Then i noticed that if i try to save anything from google ,if i try to download a picture or a song it says its downloaded ,however its no where to be seen,i went through recently downloaded files through every folder in my internal storage through my sd card storage etc but they are nowhere,i restarted my phone a couple times and cleared my preferred apps and then restarted it again but it didnt help it still does the same thing(also im sorry for my English)

I tried that just the word first and then added the period. No result. Its almost as if they dont actually get saved anywhere but of course I know better. I even allowed for system files to show on search but still nothing ;(

This list we can try
1.check permission is enable for storage in My files app
2.Clear data/cache in "My Files" by long press then tap app info , scroll to storage and clear them both and Force stop .
3. Go setting >apps>3 dots upper right corner tap> reset app preference

I have this exact same issue. Still is not resolved. Did anyone figure it out?

Hi, welcome to AC!

Doesn't look like anyone reported back with a fix , have your tried what was mentioned above? Which device you have ?

I have the Motorola one. I did all the resets you mentioned in your last post. I just tried it again it looks like it may be downloading to the correct place now. Wasn't doing that before, I'm sure of that.
