I got so sick of it being sluggish and horrid battery, I thought that had been fixed after last weeks small update, man was I wrong. I took it back under warranty and got another. And it is back to the way it should be. It doesn't take 15 seconds to open samsung pay, it doesn't freak out when downloading anything. The battery has been off the charger since 8 and I have been using it a lot and it still has 60%. The last one would have needed recharging twice by now.
And I am running nougat. Touchwiz still sucks though :-
First one ran over in a boat launch, couldn't find it till the next morning. Yet it still powered on. Second I dropped and broke the screen. Third, multi window button went totally wonky. 4'th battery lasted about 2 hours, got really hot, and was about as fast as a 486 trying to run win 10. Fifth was just bad.
I think that the refurbs are just powered on, put through basic tests and sent back out. They should be forced to use them for a week before returning them to the wild. Just like Ford engineers shoud have been forced to fix a heater core before allowing them into the Taurus.
