my phone is dead

samsung galaxy s6 active which is completely dead, i cannot boot this into recovery mode or download mode even. no charge light - can i recover my data?

Well, you need atleast recovery to turn on to try some of the DIY ideas from the Internet. Otherwise, your best bet is your local mobile repair shop.
