My phone is showing emergency call. I cannot remember my password to unlock phone. HELP!

I have tried every password on my Note 4 and I cannot get past the emergency call that has popped up.

Bring the phone, with your photo ID, to your carrier. They can unlock it after they verify that it's yours.

Reset phone to factory settings.
Or buy a seagull.

kindly guide me how can i unlock my phone i cannot remember my back up password

You can take it to your carrier and see if they can unlock it for you (which is possible but somewhat unlikely), or if you have previously installed Android Device Manager you can use that to reset the password on your device, or worst case it's a factory reset because the whole point of having a password protecting your data is that it should be hard to unlock it without the password.

I have seen people say you can reset through google and put a link. I can not figure out how to do this. any help?
they also say do a factory reset. well how would I do that when it will not let me in the screen? it says to use the back up password. well I know what it is. it says its wrong. so now I have nothing to go off of.....

how can you reset the phone if the screen wont do anything but tell you the password is wrong, even though I know its correct?

To factory reset the phone:

Power down the phone completely. Long-press power and select "power off". Or just keep pressing the power button until it forces it down. Or pull the battery and put it back in.

Start the phone by pressing POWER - HOME - VOLUME UP simultaneously until you see a blue "BOOTING TO RECOVERY" message at the top of the screen.

Let go of all buttons when you see this and a little android with a spinning thing in his belly will appear. Wait that screen out and you will get the the "Android System Recovery" menu.

Use the volume down button to highlight "wipe data/factory reset" and select that option by pressing the POWER key. Then you'll be presented with a menu of "NO", "NO", "NO", "YES -- DELETE ALL USER DATA", "NO". Scroll down to "YES" and select that. You may be asked again if you are really sure you want to wipe your device.
