My phone randomly shuts off

I have a Samsung Note 3 and when I touch the screen!! on the right bottom corner ONLY!! the phone shuts off. Any other area nothing happen. Then I turn it back again and the phone works. But if I touch the same area again the phone dies again. Other than that everything works fine.

I changed batteries and the problem still there.

What could it be , why , and is it fixable?

What is underneath the right bottom corner that is causing this.

Welcome to Android Central! My guess is that it's a hardware issue. Perhaps there's a loose power connection somewhere, and when you apply pressure to the lower right of the phone, that triggers a shutdown.

See if this happens in Safe Mode: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-27712. If it does, then bring the phone to a repair shop.
