My phone says no service & Emergency calls only

I recently put my new Sim card from my new phone (Samsung j3) into my old phone (zte zmax pro) and it keeps saying that I have no service and can only make emergency calls. PLEASE HELP!
(I have metro pcs.)

what carrier is the SIM card? Your new phone might not be comparable with the SIM card.
