My phone took over 400 photos on its own?

[Android Central Question]

I was dyeing my hair with my phone faced up, nothing was touching it. I went into my gallery later, seeing there were 350 or 400 photos of just the bathroom ceiling and my arm, it was like they were an animation they were taken every second. I'm a bit spooked and would love some help..! I deleted them all but now Im really curious what went on. Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! Do you recall the front-facing camera being on at all? Does the timestamp of those photos correspond to when you were dyeing your hair?
