My phone unlocked when I take out of my pocket....

I find that about 40-50% of the time I take my phone out of my pocket the screen is on and it is unlocked. I have the Note 10+ from Verizon, I have a Samsung watch that I use in proximity so I don't need my fingerprint to unlock the phone. I do have double tap to wake on in the phone settings. I thought that was the issue but I turned it off and it still happens. I have a thin clear case on my phone. I am wondering if somehow the side button is getting bumped. Is anyone else having this issue? Any possible solutions? Thanks

This happens to me on occasion as well. You can go into settings and change the option to keep the phone unlocked when paired with your watch. Alternatively, you could hit the lock icon on your lock screen to manually lock your device before you put it in your pocket.

I do manually lock or turn off the screen before I put it in my pocket. I might have to turn off the unlock with my watch.
