My phone was hacked into, rebooted software, I can't reset, don't want to lose everything. What are my options?

Have a Galaxy Mega, recently was in NV, I believe my phone was hacked into by my granddaughters dad. I received a text from him and it stated, "Tell me I'm not trying to read what .... phone is doing? I turned off my phone immediately, later called sprint. lol They had me do a reboot for software, I can't reset, can't lose everything on my phone. Any suggestions. Is there anyway to prove this person hacked into my phone?

Just because you received a text that claims to know what's on your phone.... That doesn't make it real.
Most likely the person is just trying to freak you out and apparently it's working.

Unless you see major hacking /changes to the phone don't worry about it.... It's all smoke.
