My phone won't boot into recovery mode

Hi everyone! I tried to boot into recovery mode in my Sharp Aquos m1 fs8001 using adb files but when I type the command that makes the phone boot into recovery mode my phone reboots and it says on the screen of the phone "Recovery Mode". then it reboots into android like nothing happened please help me boot into recovery mode.

Welcome to the forums. What command are you using? Have you tried rebooting into recovery by powering down and the pressing power and volume down?

The command I was using is adb reboot recovery
Yes, I tried to boot into recovery mode using the power button and the volume down but it boots into fastboot. In fact when ever I try to factory reset my phone from settings my phone restarts and boots into a black screen saying recovery mode then it reboots into android without factory reseting the phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Can you clarify -- when you're in Recovery Mode, does it actually let you scroll down and choose Wipe Data/Factory Reset? Or does the Recovery menu show up for a second and then the phone reboots automatically without you touching it?

Do you have USB debugging set up in developer options? Do you have ADB set up on your PC?
