My Phone Won't Charge

Recently I put my phone in some running water to clean it off a bit and as of right now I can't charge it. I've never had any noticeable water damage before this and I haven't dropped my phone in a long while. Did the water ceiling break or could this be a bug? Any advice would help.

You might try tossing it into a Ziploc with some dry rice and let it dehumidify for a while.

If there's any moisture at all in the charging port, it will not charge until it is completely dry. Otherwise, it will short out and you will have a ruined phone. Give it some time, I'm sure it will be fine after a while.

It normally takes a day or so to fully dry out.
