I have been having problems with my voice commands for my phone. Seems like I get it all set up and it will respond to me for a few things but most of the time it doesn't want to respond to voice prompts. Anyone else had this problem?

Could you give me a little more information? Are you trying to use the 'Ok Google' feature? Does it hear your voice commands?

My Google search one works pretty good, its the general voice app that came on my phone that is supposed to allow me to just tell it to open an app or anything. Like when I'm at my lock screen and I try to use the wake up command "wake up galaxy" it won't respond. It just tells me it doesn't recognize the voice. I have gone back and made sure all the settings are right and made sure its on and everything several times but it still wants to be dumb... Or maybe it's just me lol.

Are you referring to S-Voice? If you are having issues, you can try clearing the data of the app by going to Settings > Apps > S-Voice and then press 'Clear data' and 'Clear cache'.
You may have to set S-Voice up again.

Yes... That's the one... I keep trying to use it and it just won't work for me... I have seen others who have this exact same phone and they can get it to do anything just by talking to it... Let me try clearing the cache tho and I will try it again. Thanks so much!

OK... I'm sad now. It still doesn't want to respond. It keeps saying failed to recognize voice. My Google voice search works great, just no s voice.

Sorry to hear that. Did you try restarting after you cleared the data and cache?

Try clearing the cache, try rebooting the app and or the phone.
Try uninstalling any updstes then re installing them.

You will want to re record your voice.

Youtube is giving great advice.

Hey all,

So the recent update has caused a bit of compatibility issues.
The devs are aware of the problem and are hard at work on a solution. The issue should be fixed pretty soon.

Thanks,
