My phone wont receive calls/texts

I got my Hero back in December and have had nothing but problems with it. The latest problem is that I will occasionally not receive calls and texts and the phone will show no notification of missing them. The few times that this has happened the contacts were using Verizon which idk if that has anything to do with it or not. I'm just afraid that i'm going to miss an important call (if I havent already). Is there a fix for this? Will 2.1 fix this?

That sounds like a problem with your phone. I would take it in to Sprint and tell them to fix it.

two things come to mind ...

1) Are you using a task killer? STOP! UNINSTALL! REBOOT! is the problem solved? (this is in reference to the text issue)
2) Have you changed your SCI and tested? Search the Hero forums for the thread "ring lag fix" and give that a try. (this is in reference to the missed calls issue)
