My phone's screen doesn't turn on after dropping it?

I dropped my phone about 3 - 4 feet earlier, but it suffered no scratches and it still worked. An hour later, I turned it on and I see green/blue streaks on the screen. I take out the battery, and 2 hours later, I don't see anything at all on the screen, even after charging. I still see blue lights near the power button every time I press it, and my phone still vibrates every time I hold down the power button. What can I do to make it work again?

Welcome to Android Central! The screen has failed and needs replacing. It may be that the initial drop initiated the damage, which then progressed over an hour.
