My question is about quad- core a33 y3 android 4.4.2 digital picture frame.

Someone gave me a quad- core a33 y3 android 4.4.2 digital picture frame. When I turn it on, the android logo comes up and then it goes to the word android and back and forth to the logo. I did a factory reset and it still doing the same thing. Can I get this to work? What do I need to do?
I can have it go to the menu where it shows me ..reboot system now...apply update from ADB..wipe data/factory reset...wipe cache partition..apply update from internal storage....apply update from external storage.. apply update from cache no command

Welcome to Android Central! It's booting to the Recovery Menu. When it shows up, are you able to select anything, or does it automatically reboot without you touching anything?

When it boots up it goes to the android logo and the word android, so it goes back and forth between the two. I can tell it to go the menu where it gives the options that I noted.

yes, ..Here are the options it gives me to select.....reboot system now.....apply update from ADB.....wipe data/factory reset......wipe cache partition..apply update from internal storage........apply update from external storage...... apply update from cache no command

What happens if you select Wipe Cache Partition and then reboot?

it just reboots to the android logo and then to the word android and sits there

Probably corrupt firmware or faulty hardware. Not sure what would be involved with trying to reflash the firmware. Is the frame still under warranty?

No, its not under warranty.. sad to say.....yes I was wondering the same thing, how do you reflash the firmware.

You have to find the firmware first, I couldn't find anything for that device

I did reach out to the company that sells the device, Alibaba ...Not sure if they have the firmware.. waiting to hear back from them.

Alibaba is kind of like Amazon -- it's a shopping site. Do they actually manufacture the device? It'd be kind of like asking Amazon for technical help with your LG phone, so they'll probably be clueless, unfortunately.
