My reaction to iOS 8's new dev-friendly keyboard

You contradict yourself. First, you say Apple doesn't want iDevice users to jailbreak their devices.
They don't. They could allow jailbreaking if they wanted to.

Then you turn around and say Apple has trained consumers well.
They have...they have trained them to accept these restrictions as if they are normal. You yourself are proof of this. You're perfectly willing to jump through hoops to do something you should have been able to do anyway by default, and yet refuse to criticize Apple for it. Thats great training.

Who said I agree with their restrictions. If that's the case, I wouldn't jailbreak. It is what it is and my complaining isn't going to change Apples mind. If I want a feature that isn't stock, jailbreak is an option. If Apple adds features that has been in the jailbreak community for awhile, that great but I'm not gonna be all Debbie Downer and continue to complain how late they are. What's that going to accomplish? I'm fortunate to be able to enjoy both platforms which is why I don't complain.
