I am rooted and for the past 4 monthsish and I have finally reach my goal to squeeze 2.5 hours of on screen battery life out of my epic Nexus over 13 hours. Stock battery btw.
I did it, and I am posting this for all of the people like me who just want battery life and yet I am getting epic performance along side the battery life. My quadrant score screen shot is at bottom.
I am running Patient Zero Milestone 1, Black Exodus 3.4 theme which is beautiful, and the obviously epic Franco Kernel Nightly 135. On Franco I am on Ondemand Governor, min cpu 385 max at 1238, hot plug enabled, and my battery max charging at 97% instead of 96% (ps. Is this bad?)
My recipe consists of about 1/3 wifi, a little more than 1/3 3G, and a little less than 1/3 4g. Something I made sure of was only having 4G on when I knew there was 4G where I was, so that I didn't go back and forth between 3g and 4g. Also my screen brightness was probably averaged out at about 45% and maybe higher. This is all because of the advice given to me by 2defmouze. So thanks a ton! Also I listen to a lot of music and now with PZM1 having Beats Audio, that probably put off some battery.
I've got screen shots at bottom and any question just ask.
