I decided to record a review of my LG G3. :)

I also decided to challenge myself to keep this device for 6 months (until February 20, 2015)...

Not sure why my iPad recorded it so quietly but it did and I don't feel like trying to figure that out.
Just 2 videos I decided to post. :)

Got any comments?

I'm not getting any volume.

Are the videos muted for you? I noticed randomly YouTube muted my videos by default. 0.0 I have them unmuted and the volume is low but I can hear myself. (I sound odd lol...)

Regarding the gapps error message, what have you got your default keyboard set to?

(I accidentally voted you the thumb above and can't undo it. Of course I wish you well and so on, but I don't want you to think that Murph done it.)

Swiftkey

Swiftkey and Google Keyboard can cause the gapps problem so if it's worrying you you may want to try a temporary uninstall or at least set the LG Keyboard as the default one temporarily.

Edit, later. Someone is mucking about Erin. They've voted you a heart above, I bet to make it seem as if I've done it. It looks like we may have to get married. Believe me, from your point of view, that's bad news. I recommend suicide.
If the keyboard thing doesn't work, you might try a Cache Clear and Data Clear in the relevant app. What that would be I don't know....Google Play Services?

Erin, I am using Google Keyboard and I get the same error message upon startup. I've tried different things to fix it and nothing works so I just don't worry about it. It doesn't seem to affect the phone in any way. Like you, I also miss iMessage, so I can understand where you're coming from. I've been thinking about looking at the iPhone 6 Plus because I'm very curious about it. When it is all said and done, I like both Android and iOS. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. It's fun to play around with both operating systems.

Yeah I'm not too worried about it but still I like iMessage lol
I'm thinking about selling this device. After all is said and done these are my priorities (below) and the iPhone ranks number 1 for ease of use for the first 2 then it is even for the last 3.
1) battery life
2) navigation
3) music
4) videos/screen size
5) camera

I think you should get whatever device makes you happy. Don't talk to me though. I had two different phones last year and have had two so far this year. It'll be three if I decide to get the iPhone. If I get it, I have to keep it for six months until I can upgrade again (I'm on T-Mobile's original Jump plan).

Yeah I had the jump program but got rid of it. Lol I don't use it at all. My G3 is paid off and that's what I usually do to upgrade so I can keep them.
I'm mainly worried about the price, you know?

Yes, the new phone habit can get expensive. I don't spend any money on toys for myself except phones. So that's how I justify my habit. Lol.

Enjoy it. I'm watching YouTube videos at the moment that review the iPhone 6 Plus. I wish I could afford to have both phones, actually (the G3 and 6 Plus).
